CERAMAX hybridceramic can be produced - thanks of a special hybrid production technology - in large jumbo-formats (up to 150 x 320 cm) up from 3 mm thickness.

Innovative production technology.

CERAMAX hybridceramic is being produced with an innovative technology of production. During this process the Temperatur reaches more than 1.200 degrees.

Mineral based and nonflammable.

CERAMAX hybridceramic is mineral based and nonflammable. It contains clay, granite, metamorphic rocks, silicate minerals und ceramic pigments.

Superior even flatness.

Because of a especially developed processing technology we can proudly guarantee a superior even flatness for the color- and surface texture. Through the CERAMAX surface finishing; we produce a high density „glasslike“ and fully homogeneous surface.

CERASHIELD ceramic facades with European Building Approval.

For us from CERAMAX a simple and safe use of our products is very important. Therefore we have applied a European Technical Assessment (ETA Building Approval) for our mechanical bonding of CERASHIELD panels (up from 8 mm panel thickness). 

This certification made it possible to use CERASHIELD facade panels up from 8 mm thickness, in all EU countries, without having to apply for authorization in the individual states.

The mechanical CERASHIELD plate bonding (up from 8 mm) with European Technical Assessment ETA-16/0096 (by DIBt | German Institute for Building Technology, Berlin) is allowed throughout all EU member states.

Hybridceramic signified durable and indestructible surfaces!

 

  • CERASHIELD facade panels have fire resistance A1 (DIN EN 13501). They are non flammable!
  • CERASHIELD surfaces are unchanged in time. Resistant to weather agents, UV-rays, corrosion oxidation and chemical agents.
  • CERASHIELD facade panels have an abrasion- and absolutely scratch resistant surface, MOHS-Hardness = 8 (Industrial diamond = 10). The properties remain unchanged even after extended use and cleaning.
  • CERASHIELD facade panels does not contain any organic pigments, therefore they are absolutely UV-resistant.
  • CERASHIELD surfaces are resistant to every surface treatment with organic and non organic solutions. Only hydrofluoric acid is able to damage CERASHIELD surfaces.
  • CERASHIELD facades are easy to clean. Disinfectants and cleaning agents are unable to damage the surface.
  • CERASHIELD facade panels (special designs) are optional available with CERACLEAN BIOAKTIV coating. So they get self-cleaning properties. Its self cleaning properties make it ideal for use in hard-to-reach places that are difficult to clean. CERASHIELD facade solutions are highly durable for the lifetime of your building.
